As we remember the 3,000 men and women that were killed on 9/11 I hope we can also remember the 6,000+ soldiers who were wrongfully killed in overseas operations since 9/11 all in the name of democracy. And as we remember the soldiers our elected officials sent overseas may we also remember the thousands of innocent civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan and everywhere else that have died in the name of "spreading our democracy". And as we remember all the men and women and children, babies and innocents that have died for "democracy" let us please remember that we are not actually a democracy as the Federal Government has been saying. We are a Republic. Or have we TRULY forgotten?
